Our History
MEHAYO Tanzania was founded in 1995 by Ms. Linda Cyprian Ngido, a retired primary teacher who taught children with intellectual disabilities for over 20 years.
Starting with a small project on her own land in Mazimbu, Morogoro, she developed a program focused on practical vocational life skills.
The organization was officially registered as an NGO in 1998.
